Mallorie Nicholson, Partner
Mallorie is a grounded and helpful presence in difficult conversations. She uses analysis, skills and process to shift disputes from avoidance & competition to open dialogue & collaboration. She finds satisfaction in helping individuals & groups effectively explore difference, while highlighting shared interests, goals, & opportunities. Her preferred processes for this are mediation, facilitation, conflict assessment & group training and education.Mallorie’s educational background includes an MA in Dispute Resolution (University of Victoria), a BA in Peace and Conflict Studies (University of Toronto) as well as regular continuing education in dispute resolution leadership. Previous to becoming partner, she served as the firm’s Managing Associate.
Outside her work in dispute resolution, Mallorie is an accomplished water sport enthusiast, coach, and previous world champion in the sport of sprint canoe.
Mallorie enjoys working with diverse clientele in both the private and public sector, including, individuals, community organizations, government departments and First Nations across BC and Canada. She resides in Victoria, BC.
